The February edition of our church newsletter, The Link, is shown below. We’ve some events coming up, like the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, and the two Ash Wednesday services, one at noon and the other at 7pm on February 22nd. Our church also hosts bible study groups on Tuesday and Wednesday at 10am. Our December Church Newsletter is Here!!
The newsletter for Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church is now shown below. We’ve got some exciting events planned for December, beginning on Saturday, December 3rd from 9:30am to 2pm where you can visit Silent Auction tables filled with terrific gifts, a Bake Sale table with lots of yummy goodies, and a Christmas Tag Sale Room. A simple soup lunch will be available from 10:30am to 1:30pm. Plan to come visit our event on December 3rd and we’re sure you’ll find some great items for Christmas gifts!
You’ll also find listed in the Link newsletter, information regarding our special Christmas services. Everyone is welcome to come and join us in worship and enjoy this special season together.

We will be honoring our loved ones who have gone to be with the Lord on All Saints’ Day, November 6th during our 10:00 AM morning worship service. We invite you to come and share this with us, and to offer up your loved one’s name.
Plans are in the works for another Silent Auction and Bake Sale event on December 3rd from 9:30am until 2:00pm. More information will be coming soon about that but you can mark your calendars now to come and enjoy a fun time with us!

Wow! We’ve got Big News!
We are pleased to announce that Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church and Winsted United Methodist Church have merged!! Today we celebrate our first Sunday as a combined unit where we welcomed everyone to the communion table in the name of Jesus Christ. We are excited to meet and learn about our newest members, and we look forward to building the community of faith into an even more vibrant church family. Everyone brings their special gifts to our fellowship and we plan to learn what those are and how they can help us become a stronger unit as we move forward.
