Welcome to our web site! We’re always happy to receive visitors in church and certainly online as well.
The Pleasant Valley United Methodist Cchurch has a healthy mix of children and adults, and we’re blessed with a balance of long-time members as well as people who are new to the area.
Children of all ages are welcome at PVUMC!
Nursery and Sunday School: During the 10:00 am service, we offer nursery school for birth through age 3, then Sunday School for ages 3 and up. But before the children are dismissed for Sunday School, the pastor, or one of our church members, invites them up front for a brief children’s sermon. It’s a wonderful way to include the children in the service!
Youth Group: Our youth group program currently is for high schoolers. We take on a variety of charitable projects throughout the year such as Christmas shoe box gifts for those in need, helping within the church including clean-up assistance and serving at our famous Bean Hole Bean Suppers. It’s a fun and educational way to help others. We enjoy many recreational activities as well, such as the bowl-a-thon, snow sledding at Camp Jewel and more!
Want to get involved? Anyone who enjoys singing can join the PVUMC Choir, and all are welcome to join us for coffee hour after the morning service. It’s a great place to chat and meet new friends.
