Every year our church sets up a Mitten Tree and asks our congregation to help decorate it with hats, mittens, scarves, and gloves which are then donated to the Winsted Salvation Army to help keep our neighbors warm during this winter season. Here’s the “before” picture…..
and beside it the “after” picture! Thank you to all those folks who so generously made a donation to the Mitten Tree. You’ll also notice that this year we’ve included a basket for donations of socks for the Winsted YMCA Homeless Shelter. As you can see, the basket is full! Again, thank you to everyone for your donations.
